Our Board of Directors
The key individuals involved with the Favors Forward Foundation are clearly
our growing team of volunteers who freely share their time, talent and
treasures. But we are also blessed with additional in-kind
professional expertise within our board of directors.
Dr. Beth McMahon – President
Beyond traditional volunteer opportunities provided by FFF our president
takes responsibilities to collect data that tracks the process, impact
and ultimate outcome of the activities of our work. Beth also supervises
the day to day activities of the foundation and supervises the Americorp
member and students who participate in the delivery of services and research
of the foundation activities.
Major Marie Harris, Salvation
Army– Vice President
Major Marie Harris through the Salvation Army is a major referral source
and assists us in connecting our clients to health and human services throughout
Dr. Morris Smith, Shepherd of the Streets - 2nd Vice President
Dr. Smith serves as our “ears on the ground” within his capacity as
the Shepherd of the Streets and Deacon for the local Catholic Churches.
He is also keenly aware of health and human services within our county.
Ms. Christy Allen – Secretary
Christy Allen is our corporate contact and uses her years of service
throughout Lycoming County to levee donations and private support for our
foundation to help those in need. She has been able to secure a private
donation for a complete kitchen and a living room make over as well as having
a car donated with one full year of service included through a local dealership.
All three donors have asked to remain anonymous. In Christy’s
professional position she is a consultant for Workforce Development &
Continuing Education at Penn College serving business and industry.
In her private time she continues to serve those in need throughout our
Mr. Jim Wehr, Certified Public Accountant – Treasure
Jim Wehr has generously served FFF assisting by overseeing our financial
situation and developing our 501c3 application and ongoing justification.
Pat and Bob Hartenstine, Executive Board Members
The Hartenstein’s are relentless volunteers. Their expertise and
insight as a school psychologist in the public school (Pat) and graphic
designer (Bob) has been critical. Our letter head was designed by Bob.
The Hartenstines’ also organize and implement our Sunday AM food delivery
Ms. Valerie Robitaille, Administrative Assistant
Val is a seasoned professional with 30 years accumulated education and
experience in health and nutrition principles. She is currently completing
a Ph.D. in Community Health Education and Promotion at Walden University.
She is also the former owner/operator of the home care organization Help-At-Home,
Inc., New York. Ms. Robitaille shares her administration skills and
personal dedication to help serve through the Favors Forward Foundation.
